Obituary of Mary Ann Phillips

Mary Phillips, 57, passed away on November 21, at the Hospice Care Center in Copley. Born in Akron on June 30, 1953 to the late Paul and Anne Fitzpatrick, Mary had been a lifetime area resident. Mary loved to play soccer, especially with the Akron Coasters. In addition to her parents; Mary was preceded in death by her son, Ben in 2005. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Steve, and daughter Aimee Phillips, both of Akron; brothers, Gary (Charlotte), Mike (Barbara), and Kevin Fitzpatrick and sister Erin (Robert) Stuckey. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL (at 3rd St., one block north of Portage Trail in the Falls.)
