Obituary of John Charles Schon

John Schon, 58, of Coventry Township , died unexpectedly Wednesday, November 10, 2010. He was born November 2, 1952 in Lorain, Ohio. He resided in Vermilion Ohio until 1958, Beach City, Ohio until 1980, and in the Akron area since 1980. He resided in Coventry Township since 1983. John was a devoted and loving husband and father, and he will be missed more than he could ever imagine. His greatest love and concern was always for his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, the former Elaine Sciarini and children. Andy (Brooke) Schon of Green and Kristen Schon of Coventry Township. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, the Akron Railroad Club, and a life member of the Nickel Plate Road Historical and Technical Society. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, on TUESDAY, November 16, 2010 at 10 a.m. Interment will take place Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery in New Philadelphia, Ohio.
