Obituary of Forrest Dewayne Mobley

Dewayne Mobley, 73, wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, went home to be with the Lord on November 4, at Barberton Citizens Hospital. Born in Akron on December 24, 1936 to the late Forrest Sr. and Shirley Mobley, Dewayne had been a resident of Green for 46 years. He was employed in the soft drink industry, retiring from Coca-Cola. Dewayne was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church and was a ham radio enthusiast. In addition to his parents, Tiny was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis. He is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Marie of Green; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Margaret Mobley of Manchester and daughter, Teresa Parsons of Wadsworth; brother, and sister-in-law, Bill and Lynn Mobley of Akron; sister-in-law, Mary Mobley, as well as three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home GREEN CHAPEL, 4178 Massillon Rd. (at the intersection of Steese Rd. and Rte. 241 in Green). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. David Durkee on Monday at 10 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church on Steese Rd. in Green. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.

Visitation

The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home GREEN CHAPEL, 4178 Massillon Rd. (at the intersection of Steese Rd. and Rte. 241 in Green). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. David Durkee on Monday at 10 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church on Steese Rd. in Green. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.
