Obituary of Violet M. DeLuca
Violet M. DeLuca, 91, went home to be with the Lord September, 3 2010 at Bath Manor.
Violet was born February 25, 1919 to John and Mary Helen (Sedor) Murvay in East Chicago, Ind. and came to Akron in 1938. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, St. Paul Ladies Guild and Firestone Park Prime Timers.
Violet was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Angelo in 2009; and is survived by her son, Dennis DeLuca of Akron and daughter, Ellen Marie Meade of Coventry; grandchildren, Angela Meade, Letha (Howard) Unrue, Noah Meade and Pam (Joe) Papparone; great-grandchildren, Alex and Emily Unrue, Jessica (Ariel) Ortiz and Cory Grimaldi; great-great-grandchildren, Jacob and Kirsten Oritz; brother, John (Margaret) Murvay; close friend, Diane Richmond and her children, Jeff Richmond and Crystal (John) Wolverton, and their daughter Naydia; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 11 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church where the family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
