Obituary of Harry Leon Hall

Harry Leon Hall went home to be with Lord on May 4, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born October 28, 1943 to James and Isabelle Hall, Harry graduated from Garfield High School and the University of Akron. He retired from the City of Akron after 30 years plus service. Harry was a member of the Coventry-Akron Masonic Lodge #83 and was also a 32nd degree Mason. He was an avid sports fan whose first love was his precious grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son, Kurt Hall, parents James & Isabelle Hall, & father in law James Lowery, Harry is survived by wife Sandra; children, Kelly (James) Beavers, Kevin Hall, Kristan (Troy) Spear, & Kathy ( Andrew) King; grandchildren Drew, Rachel, Laura, Kayla, Payton, Myles, Maxwell and Luke; brother James ( Sheila ) Hall & sister Alberta ( Ed) Shanafelt; sister in law Becky ( Gil) Hart & mother in law Marjory Lowery; many nieces & nephews as well as life long friends, Dave & Marilyn Beal & Randy Yost. Special thank you to Summa Hospice for their excellent care. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 11, from 4-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A celebration of Harry's life will take place on Saturday, May 12, at 11:00 am at Life Springs Christian Church 1828 Marigold Ave. Akron, OH 44301.
