Obituary of Rodney Howard

CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Rodney Howard, 84, went home to be with the Lord on June 22, 2010 after an extended illness. Born in Hacken-sack, N.J. on July 28, 1925 to the late Charles and Ethel Howard, Rodney had been an area resident nearly his entire life. He was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and worked as a controller for Omnicor, retiring in 1990. In addition to his parents, Rod was preceded in death by his brother, Bernard and his sister, Catharine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Neil Crosby on Saturday at 12 p.m. at St. Eugene Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls, where a visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Pleasant View Cemetery in Ludlow, Vt. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rod's memory may be made to Saint Eugene Catholic Church, 1421 Munroe Falls Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
