Obituary of Juliana Cappo
Juliana (Palfi) Cappo, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April
24, 2012, at Akron General Medical Center.
She was born May 16, 1955, in Yugoslavia to Imre and Magdalena Palfi.
She moved to Mansfield, Ohio where she graduated from Mansfield Senior
High School. She graduated from Ohio Northern University College of
Pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist at several Akron area pharmacies
until her health declined.
Julie was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church and a member of
the Ohio State Master Gardener's Program.
Julie was a very hard worker and enjoyed sewing, cooking, shopping and
especially her time spent as a Master Gardener. She was happiest
outdoors working in her garden and greenhouse.
Preceded in death by her mother, Magdalena, she is survived by her
loving and devoted husband, Jeffrey Cappo; beloved son Christopher;
father; brother Albert (Maria) Palfi; nephew Jakob; niece Ava; and many
extended family members and friends and her constant companion, Gracie.
Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 Pm at Anthony Funeral Home
Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Mass of the Christian
Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 Am at Queen of Heaven Catholic
Church, 1800 Steese Road, Uniontown, OH 44685. Interment will follow at
Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the Scleroderma
