Obituary of Francis Hoover

-CUYAHOGA FALLS Francis Hoover, 80, passed away peacefully with his daughters by his side on June 3, at the Hospice Care Center in Copley. Born in Altoona, PA on March 24, 1934, Francis had been a Cuyahoga Falls resident since 1963. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Francis worked as a crane operator at Atlantic Foundry in Akron for nearly 20 years and retired from H & H Molded Products in 1996. He served his country as a US Marine Reserve and was also a member of the International Order of Forresters. Francis was preceded in death by his wife Larue in 1988, as well as 7 siblings. Francis was a loving father and grandfather to his children Thomas J., James F. (Karen), Suzette M. (Douglas) Wesie, Frederick T., Beth A. (Greg) Kopniske, & Linda L. (Aaron) Kindsvatter and his grandchildren Steven & Summer Wesie and Adam, Rachel, & Jacqueline Kopniske; brother Ralph (Betty) Hoover, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all of the doctors, nurses, staff, and volunteers at AlterCare of Cuyahoga Falls, Akron General Medical Center, and the VNS Hospice for the compassionate care given to their father. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, 2 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of VNS 3348 Ridgewood Rd. Akron, OH 44333.
