Obituary of Mary Lou Bheam
Mary Lou Bheam, 76, peacefully entered into eternal rest, unexpectedly on Thursday, May 29, 2014.
Mary Lou was born September 15, 1937 to Justin and Elizabeth (Ondus) Pagac in Akron and had been an Akron resident her entire life. She was a 1955 graduate of Garfield High School and a faithful and devoted member of St. Matthew Catholic Church.
Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Jack; children Bonnie (Mark) Williams, Kathy (John) Barnhart and Jack Bheam; granddaughters Carli and Rachel Williams; sisters Ann Burskey, Betty Pagac and Sr. Mary Kathleen Pagac, S.C., as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Sr. Alice Marie Pagac VSC and Pauline Varga.
Mary Lou loved being a wife and mother. She was spunky, generous, unselfish and had never met a stranger. Polkas, chocolate, visiting the beauty shop and feeding birds were a few of her favorite things. Her cherished times were spent with her family, especially on vacations and during holidays.
The family will receive friends TODAY from 4 to 7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 am in St. Matthew Catholic Church, corner of Berne Street and Wolf Avenue in East Akron. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Matthew Church, 2603 Benton Street, Akron OH 44312.
