UNIONTOWN -- Our Beautiful mother, 80, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 2nd, just in time to join her husband Tom for his 86th birthday.
Janet retired from Lake Schools after 30 years of service. She was a devout member of Queen of Heaven church in Green. Janet was head of the Bereavement Committee and proud member of the Rosary group which provided rosaries to people around the world, including those who served our country.
Janet was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tom and her son, Tommy who she missed dearly, her grandson, Jaret Llewellyn and her parents, Eliza and Alonzo Greenwell.
She is survived by children, Nancy Allen, Laurie (Art) Lewis, Joseph (Heidi), James (Laura) and Lisa (Dane) Llewellyn; grandchildren, Stephanie, Ashley (Jesse), Anthony, Casey, Nicholas, Joey, Jonathan, Dane, Kevin, Emily, and Savanna; great-grandchildren, Alex and Abby; brothers, Jim (Babe) and Bob (Sherry) Greenwell; sister, Norma Jean (Blaine) Smitley; brothers-in-law, William (Jennie) Quinn and Tom Chenevey; and her furry friend Sammie (George). She is survived by many dear life long friends; cherished friend and pastor, Father Dave Durkee and special friends from the Rosary group and bereavement committee at Queen of Heaven Church.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, 12 p.m. (noon) at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd., Uniontown (Green), OH 44685, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
