Obituary of Ted Hall
Ted Hall, 89, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the Visiting Nurse Hospice Care Center in Copley, Ohio.
He was born in Akron, Ohio on May 13, 1925 and was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Mr. Hall was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces serving during the Korean Conflict and he retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Company after 38 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Asa and Bess Hall; and wife, Katherine Hall in 2008. He is survived by his daughter, Kim Deitrick of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; grandchildren, Whitney Shanholtz of Mayfield Heights, Ohio and Justin and Kenny Deitrick both of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; and 3 great-grandsons, Carter, Kenny and Dominic.
Funeral service will be held Friday, 12 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
