Obituary of Linda M. Olinger

Linda M. Olinger, 59, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Visiting Nurse Hospice Care Center in Copley. She was born in Akron and was a member of Emmanuel Fellowship Church where she served as a church trustee. She was a machinist for many years to which she was very proud. She was more recently a community service supervisor for Oriana House from 2000 to 2013. Linda enjoyed camping, fishing and horses. She was even training to be a jockey. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Avis; brother, Michael; and domestic partner, Mary Standiford. She is survived by "her girls", Joan, Lisa and Cheryl; and her beloved church family. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. A Memorial service will be announced at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to Emmanuel Fellowship Church, 60 N.
