Obituary of Andrew Senko

Andrew Senko, Jr., 91, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the Merriman in Akron. He was born in Cuyahoga Falls and retired from Bridgestone Tire and Rubber Company after 40 years of service. Mr. Senko was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces serving during World War II. He was a member of the Cuyahoga Falls VFW Post and he enjoyed fishing. A special thank you to the staff at the Merriman for all of their care. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers; and 3 sisters. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Frances Senko; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Deborah Senko; grandson, Chris Senko; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Helen and Bill Wise; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Private interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Donations may be made in his memory to Hospice of Summa, 453 S.
