Obituary of Betty J. Lindsay

Betty J. Lindsay, our precious mother, & a friend to many people, went to her heavenly home to be with the Lord, on April 19, 2014. She lived life to its fullest and enjoyed her time here on Earth. She was, and still is, an amazing and incredible woman. So kind, giving, and generous; she never turned anyone away. She left very quietly and peacefully surrounded by her family at home. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, George, Betty is survived by her children Donna Hinkle, Bob Lindsay, and Tammy (Michael) Luisi; loving brother Bill (Martha) Childers and sister Zetta Shantholtz. Betty was blessed with four grandchildren: Marc Lindsay, Stephanie (Mike) Pribonic, and Michael & Nicholas Luisi; great-grandchildren Josh, Maurgen, Molly, Caleb & Payton. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Betty's loving neighbors, her many friends, Dr. Ritchey and staff, as well as all of the nurses, aides, and all of those whose care and compassion helped to make her life more pleasurable, Thank you! The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 5-7 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A Funeral service will take place on Thursday, at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Pastor Robert Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron.

Visitation

A Funeral service will take place on Thursday, at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Pastor Robert Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron.
