Obituary of Julia Rae Norris
GREEN -Julia Rae Norris, beloved daughter of Kirk and Crissy (Holtz) Norris, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 15, 2014. She died due to a diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma brain tumor discovered only last Friday with no prior symptoms.
Julia is also survived by her brothers Joshua and Jordan; grandmothers Kathleen Holtz and Virginia Rae Norris; aunts and uncles Thomas Holtz, Kim (Doug) Lehman, Kenny (Georgiana) Norris and Kathi Taki and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers Lee K. Norris and Henry J. Holtz and her aunt Kristi Rae Norris.
Julia was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church and in the fourth grade at Green Intermediate School.
Julia loved anything athletic especially sports that ended with the word ball - softball, volleyball, basketball and her brother's baseball and football games. She loved being a part of the Green Travel Basketball program and enjoyed playing travel softball. She was a stellar student and a passionate reader.
Julia was a very happy little girl. She had a beautiful smile and shared it with everyone.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 21, 2014 from 4-8PM at the Anthony and Son Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Road, Uniontown OH 44685 (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads in Green-entrance off of Steese Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Tuesday, April 22 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Road, Uniontown OH 44685. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
