Obituary of Marie Anne Gracy

Marie Anne Gracy, 91, of Green, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at her home. Marie was born July 6, 1922 to Andrew and Anna Kuhar. She attended Greensburg High School, and worked in Greensburg PTA for 8 years, serving as president for 1 year. Marie was a housewife who worked as an aircraft inspector during WWII. She enjoyed cooking, flower gardening & arranging, and reading. Marie was a member of the Ohio Lily Society, the Northeast Ohio Daffodil Society, the Flower Artists Groups, Ikebana International & Greensburg Garden Club. Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Roy Gracy in 2013, and her son Brian in 1976. She is survived by cousins Pauline and Diane Kennedy; Godchildren nephew Tom Kuhar and cousin Margaret Brooks; special friend Linda Bernat, and many other cousins and friends. Funeral arrangements were private as she requested and she was interred at Greensburg Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Green Paramedics, 4200 Massillon Road North Canton, Ohio 44720.
