Obituary of Zsuzsanna Susie Hamilton
Susie Hamilton (Zsuzsanna Huszarik), 59, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on February 28, 2014.
She was born on October 12, 1954 in Szolnok, Hungary and came to America in 1973. She learned most of her initial English by watching TV, especially Sesame Street. Susie graduated from the University of Akron in 1979 and then spent over 32 years at Akron General in the operating room, where she loved working with the neurosurgeons. She married Robert (Bobby) Hamilton in 1986. Bobby and his sweet Zsuzsikam lived together in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
She and Bobby were long-time boaters at Bay Point Marina in Marblehead, Ohio and were members of the Bay Point Yacht Club. Susie enjoyed cruising the western basin of Lake Erie with Bobby on their boat, the "Sue Sea".
Susie was an exceptional cook and loved creating her Hungarian dishes with plenty of paprika. Susie's crowning achievement in life, however, was being an exceptional wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her father, Laszlo Huszarik; mother, Aranka Huszarik; brother, Laszlo Huszarik Jr.; sister, Bobi Huszarik; father-in-law, Bill Hamilton, and mother-in-law, Josephine Hamilton. She leaves behind her husband, Robert Hamilton; daughter, Melissa Jo Hamilton, step-daughter, Julie Ann Christ; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Christ. Her extended Hamilton family, as well as a host of friends, will also greatly miss her smiling face and friendly personality. We would like to send a special thank you to all the wonderful emergency doctors, nurses, and staff who made Susie's last day on earth comfortable and let her rest in peace.
The family will receive friends Monday 5 to 8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel (1990 S Main Street Akron, Ohio). Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, go out and spend time with your family and buy a round of drinks. Please say a little prayer for Susie and her family. (Anthony, Akron, 330-724-1281, anthonyfh.com)
