Obituary of Patricia Ann Rauckhorst

Patricia Ann Rauckhorst, 76, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 in Newark, Delaware. Patricia was born on January 21, 1937 in Akron to the late John and Mary Ryan. She married Richard L. Rauckhorst Jr. in 1961, and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for many years. After spending 35 years in West Virginia, Patricia came back to Ohio, settling in Medina. Patricia was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was very fond of children and animals, supporting the Humane Society and SPCA. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Richard; her children Richard (Teresa) Rauckhorst III, Patricia (Tim) Bryson, Mary Anne (Kevin) Thomas, John (Miyay) Rauckhorst, Lisa (Richard) Desrosiers; brother-in-law Jerry (Cheri) Rauckhorst and sister-in-law Dorthy Rauckhorst; as well as 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The family will receive family and friends on Friday, from 5:30-8:30PM at the Anthony Funeral Home, KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main Street, Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, 11AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church,612 E Washington St, Medina.
