My name is Douglas Spencer Huntley. I was a neighbor of Roger, Kenny & Hope when they lived in Rutherfordton. We are cousins....our grandfathers were brothers. My dad was Leslie "Howard" Huntley, who died in 2010 at the age of 102. My dad told me that Roger called him on the telephone and they talked for a good while not too long before he died. It is unfortunate that we have lost touch over all these years. I have just learned of Roger's passing from another cousin who is working on our family history. Even though it has been some time, I do wish to express my sincere condolences to all of Roger's family. I would be delighted if any of you would make contact with me.
