Obituary of Ann Bialy
Ann Bialy, 92, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 at her home.
She was born May 17, 1921 to Stephen and Anna (Kochman) Lukas in Akron and had been an Akron resident her entire life. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, St. Paul's Ladies Guild and the Firestone Park Prime Timers. She was an avid Cleveland Indians, Cavaliers and Browns Fan.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Lewis Pierce and Walter Bialy; daughters, Nancy and Carol Bialy; siblings John Lukas, Mary Tsaloff, Agnes Port and Eleanor Lukas and is survived by her children, Judy (John) Lepkowski, Becky (Paul) Darby and Tim Bialy; sister-in-law Ann Cassell; brother-in-law, Ernie Port; grandchildren, Lisa (Russell) Gray, Tracey (Albert) Lloyd and Bridget (Mark) Duffie; and great-grandchildren, Bryn, Nick and Johnny Lloyd and Parker and Kenna Duffie.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:30 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home where St. Paul's Ladies Guild will hold a Rosary service at 6 p.m. Donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Paul Catholic Church 1580 Brown St. Akron, Ohio 44301.
