Obituary of Robert C. Marlin

-Stow Robert C. Marlin Jr., loving husband and father, passed away on March 23, at the Hospice Care Center in Copley. Born in Akron, Bob lived his entire life in Stow and was a graduate of Stow High School. He worked as a maintenance mechanic for Automated Packaging/ITW for 34 years and Advanced Poly-Plastics for 6 years. Bob was an avid fisherman whose favorite destination was to the Outer Banks of North Carolina with his family. Preceded in death by his parents Robert Sr. & Betty Jane Marlin, Bob is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 32 years, Marlene of Stow; beloved son Robert C. Marlin III of Streetsboro; sister Jean (Kenny) Pipes of Stow, sisters Patricia & Robin, and numerous nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL, at 3rd. St., one block north of Portage Trail in the Falls. Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
