Obituary of Jonathan Dailey

CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Jonathan Dailey, 38, passed away unexpectedly on August 14, at Akron City Hospital. Born in Akron on June 13, 1973, Jonathan had been a lifetime area resident. He was a 1991 graduate of Mogadore H.S. and later went on to attain his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and his Masters of Public Administration from Kent State University. Jonathan was an avid musician and car enthusiast. He was currently employed as Senior Planner in the Community Development Department for the City of Cuyahoga Falls. He married the love of his life, Marie (Matheny), on October 25, 2007 and they had two beautiful daughters, Eden and Claire. Jonathan was an amazing father and his girls and family were the center of his life. In addition to his beloved wife and daughters, Jonathan is survived by his parents, Gerald and Ruth Dailey of Mogadore; grandfather, Gilbert Coull; brother, Raleigh (Lori) Dailey; mother-in-law, Carol Matheny; brothers and sisters-in-law, Juliet (Louis) Falcone, Edward (Maureen Oyler) Matheny, Sally (Joseph) Piscazzi, Margaret (David) Callahan, and Jack Matheny; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL (at 3rd. St., one block north of Portage Trail in the Falls). A funeral service will take place on Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, Rev. Thom McCann officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Anthony Funeral Homes
