Obituary of Gino Starvaggi Cucuzza

Gino Starvaggi Cucuzza, 77, joined his beloved wife Lee Ann on Sunday, October 20, 2013. He was born in Giosa Maria, Italy and came to the United States in 1946. He was a barber for over 50 years and was a bus driver for Metro for 20 years. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed listening to & singing opera music. Gino was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces serving during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Vincenza. He is survived by his children, Michelle Hildreth, Tony (Heidi) Cucuzza and Kellie (Mike) Koubek; siblings, Mary Scaffidi, Carmello Starvaggi and Nick Starvaggi; and grandchildren, Taylor Bartholett, Averi, Lili, Vinny and Anthony Cucuzza and Kyla and Michael Koubek. Funeral service will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
