Obituary of Robert Ellis Carter

-CUYAHOGA FALLS Robert Ellis Carter, born November 23, 1934 in Coalton, West Virginia, went to heaven October 14, 2013. Bob was a resident of Cuyahoga Falls for 55 years. He retired from Alside, Inc., where he worked for 32 years. Preceded in death by his eldest son, Robert Ellis Carter, Jr., he leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Jenny Carter; three children, Etta Brooks, Tonya Blessing and Mark Carter; eight grandchildren, Joe Hokes, Kate Richards, Kara Hokes, Brandon Carter, Brittany Culver, Brice Carter, Rochelle Bridges and Ryan Smith; two great granddaughters, Carlee Hokes and Paisley Carter. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 4-8 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL 247 Stow Ave (at 3rd St., one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, at 11:00 am, at the funeral home. Interment at Northampton Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls.
