Obituary of Regina Kusnir

Regina Kusnir, 92, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012 at her home. Regina was born December 21, 1919 to Michael and Mary (Billey) Proco in Coleridge, Ohio and had been an area resident her entire life. She was employed by Goodrich Tire and Rubber Company as a zipper maker for over 37 years, retiring in 1976. She helped make John Glenn's original spacesuit. Regina was a former member of St. John the Baptist and Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic churches and was currently a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Rosary Society, the FCSLU Branch 415 and FCSU (Jednota) Branch 553. Regina was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1966 and is survived by her daughters, Sr. Regina Kusnir S.C. and Susan Undercoffer; grandchildren, Michael, Steven and Anne Marie (Dr. Steve Warrington) Undercoffer.

Visitation

Funeral service will be held Monday, 9:30 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St,. and will be followed by a funeral mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home, where a Rosary will be recited at 4:45 p.m.
