Obituary of Rita Kinney Bialous

Rita Kinney Bialous, 67, of Akron, died on Thursday, January 12, 2012. Rita was a groundbreaker ror American women in professional mathematics and computer sciences. As an engineer and computer programmer, she resided in over 12 states. Admired for her pioneering spirit, determination and courage, Rita was one of the first open-heart surgery recipients. She was predeceased by husband, Charles and is survived by sisters, Pat (Joe) Munka, Judy (Fred) Jenkins, Pamela Williams; brothers, Rick Kinney, Chuck Williams; many nieces and nephews.
