Obituary of Larnie Williams

Larnie Williams, 59, passed away Monday, January 9, 2012 at Summit Villa. Larnie was born November 8, 1952 to Bennie D. and Geraldine (Mays) Williams in Toledo, Ohio and had been an Akron resident for several years. He was a highly decorated football, baseball, and wrestling coach. He took pride in teaching young men and women to be the best at whatever they set out to do in life. Larnie was preceded in death by his infant son, Ronnie and brother, Butch; and father, Bennie D. Williams and stepmother, JoAnne Williams. He is survived by his children, Monique, Larnie Jr., Johnny, Ray-Ray, Joey, Jerry, Derrick, Ann, Charlie, and Miranda; grandchildren, Courtney, Vannessia, Kyante, Tyler, Arianne, Sierra, Jasmine, John E. II, Jada, Ray Jr., Jasean, Kylie, Sammy, Ashley, Alaysha, Joseph Jr., and Trey; siblings, Vonzell (Clyde) McDonald, Mike, Joe, Dewayne and Brien Williams; and his dear friends, Mary (Wonna) Sehzue.
