Obituary of Stella E. Ford

Stella E. Ford, 64, passed away Friday August 16, 2013 Stella was born and raised in Akron. She retired after 30 years at First Merit Bank. She spent her free time outdoors enjoying nature and family. She was a member of the Queen of Heaven Church where she served as Eucharistic Minister. Quietly and dutifully she served the Lord and found ways to touch the lives of everyone she come to know. Proceeded in death by her husband and best friend, Tom . She is survived by her sons, Eric (Julie), Jeff (Sally), Tom and daughters Theresa (Tommy) and Lisa. She has 8 Grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday 5 to 8 PM at the Anthony and Son Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Road in Green (PLEASE NOTE: the entrance to the funeral home is on Steese Rd. in Green and Steese Rd. is CLOSED. The detour, with signs, is on Town Park Blvd. just north of Steese Rd.). Funeral services will be held Tuesday 10:40 Am at the funeral home and will followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00Am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1600 Steese Rd., Uniontown OH 44685 (follow the same detour).
