Obituary of Irene A. Miklic

-CUYAHOGA FALLS Our beloved mother, Irene A. (Easterday) Miklic, 86, went home to her Heavenly Father, to be with her dear husband Donald on their wedding anniversary, August 12, 2013. Born in Akron on November 28, 1926 to the late Bruce & Catherine Easterday, Irene was a lifetime resident of both Akron & Cuyahoga Falls. A devout Catholic, Irene was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls for over 63 years, attending mass daily, and serving as a member of the church choir and Altar & Rosary Society. Irene was an example of a true Christian woman. She was a devoted & loving wife, mother, & friend. Irene was a generous and loving spirit, enjoying life, and finding the good in every day and in every person she encountered. In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her beloved husband Donald; granddaughter Jennifer & siblings: Mary, Helen, Margaret, James, Mildred, Robert, & John. She is survived by her children Susan (Michael) Yurich, Diane (Donald) Greenman, Thomas (Diana) Miklic, Bernard Miklic, Karen Staubs, M. Catherine Miklic, & Steven (Theresa) Miklic; she also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, including special grandson Jason, & 17 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3-7 pm, and again on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 am, at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL 247 Stow Ave. (at 3rd. St., one block north of Portage Trail) Cuyahoga Falls. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home on Friday at 10:30 am & continue with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1761 Second Street, Cuyahoga Falls. Interment will follow at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church 215 Falls Ave. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
