Obituary of Rosina A. Mancino

Rosina 'Rose' A. Mancino (Gabriel), 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday July 27, 2013. Rose was born to the late Vincenzo & Nicholetta Gabriel on February 19, 1926. She was a lifelong Akron resident, graduating from Garfield High School and then working in accounting at B.F. Goodrich for 40 yrs. Rose loved playing poker with her family, enjoyed gardening in her yard, and loved going out to dinner. In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband Leo. She is survived by her loving sister, Antonette (Toni) Gabriel; special cousins Tony & Kathy Mourlot, Linda & Rich Krecic & James Radcliff; sister-in-law Frances Mancino; brother-in-law and sister-in-law John and Annalise Mancino, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and her special neighbors and friends. There will be no calling hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church on Thursday, at 10:00 am followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.
