Obituary of Julia Dorosa

Julia (Judy) Dorosa, 84, fell asleep in the Lord on Monday, June 24, 2013. She was born in Cuyahoga Falls and was a life-long member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. All of her activities were centered around her church working with the women of St. Nicholas and the annual Something Russian Festival. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; brother, Michael Czuha; and sister, Anna Knight. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Cohoe and her finace, Richard Becker; son and daughter-in-law, David and Donna Dorosa; grandchildren, Grant Cohoe and Stephanie and John Dorosa; and sisters, Mary Lizak and Helen Herbert. The family greatly appreciates the efforts of Visiting Angels Sharlene Williams and Sandy Parker during recent months as Julia wished to remain in her home. Funeral service will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 755 S. Cleveland Ave. in Mogadore where Julia will lie in state one hour prior to service. Very Rev. Fr. Nicholas Wyslutsky officiating. Interment at St. Nicholas Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, 3 to 7 p.m. AT THE CHURCH where a Parastas service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Donations may be made to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 755 S.
