Obituary of Rosemary Adkison

Rosemary (Steiner) Adkison, 90, passed away on May 26, at the Sterling House of Barberton. Born in Doylestown on September 4, 1922 to the late Joseph and Mary Steiner, Rosemary had been a lifetime area resident. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, where she was employed as the parish secretary for 33 years, retiring in 2004. In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband Ralph, son Phillip, grandson Tommy, sister Kathleen, and brothers Richard and Charles. She is survived by her children Gregory, Dennis (Susan) and Barbara (Jeff) Moore; grandchildren Michelle (Justin), Rebecca, Bryan, Matthew, Tyler, Deanna, James and Susan; great-grandchildren Dylan, Ayden, Carter and Parker; and her sister Rita Verhotz. A special thank you goes out to all of the wonderful people at the Sterling House in Barberton for their generous care for Rosemary. The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 1-5 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St, Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. David Bline on Monday, at 10:00 am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 4019 Manchester Rd., Akron, OH 44319. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Rosemarys's name to the St.Francis de Sales Catholic Education fund.
