Obituary of Jason Lee Buckey

Jason Lee Buckey, 46, passed away unexpectedly on July 3, 2019.
Born in Akron on December 17, 1972 to Jerry & Linda (Barbuto) Buckey, Jason was a 1991 graduate of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School.  Jason was a music lover, especially Dropkick Murphies & Seven Seconds.  He was an avid sports fan, especially the Browns, Indians, & Cavs, and was a treasure trove of Cleveland sports facts.
Jason was preceded in death by his father Jerry Lee Buckey in 2015; grandparents Joe & Peggy Barbuto and Earl & Margaret Buckey; Uncle Daniel Buckey.  He is survived by his mother Linda of Stow; sister Jennifer (Marty) Teffner; aunt Nancy (Gary) Nonemaker; niece Samantha Teffner and nephews Justin & Jordan Teffner godparents Lori Barbuto-Leady & James Bari Barbuto, as well as numerous cousins and friends; he also leaves behind his beloved dog Lou.
A Celebration of Jason's life will take place on Saturday, July 13, at 12 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10 am.  Entombment of ashes will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
