Obituary of Joseph Paul Kuhajda

BARBERTON - Joseph Paul Kuhajda, 75, passed away unexpectedly on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, 2013 at his home. He was born in Akron and was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Norton. He enjoyed fishing and model trains. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph V. and Theresa (Galko); and sister, Kathryn Boland. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia Lea (Wasch); sons, Joseph P., Jr. and David (Ronda); daughters, Christine (Dennis) Bowman, Anna (Hassan) Ayoub and Linda Kuhajda (William Slonsky); and grandchildren, Derrick and Andrew Bowman, Andrew and Drake Kuhajda, Mohammed and Jeananne Ayoub and Rebecca Barcus. A Memorial service will be held Friday, 11 a.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 5451 Cleveland-Massillon Rd. in Norton where friends may call one hour prior to service.
