Obituary of John Batista Cervone

John B. Cervone, 76, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2018 at the Hospice Care Center in Copley.
Born in Medford, MA on August 4th, 1942 to the late Placido and Eleanor Cervone, John had lived in New Franklin since 1972. Graduating from Northeastern with a degree in chemical engineering, he moved to Akron in 1965 to begin his 39 year career at Firestone. John was passionate about bowling, having bowled 3 perfect games. His hobbies included following all New England sports teams, traveling, spending time with his family, and hiking. John is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sandra; his children Jason (Lisa) Cervone & Jacki (Mike) Walls; grandchildren Vincent & Cecilia; sisters Marianne (Louis) Logrippo & Donna Bengloff; nieces Danielle (Chris) Shirley & Nicole (Andrew) Johnson.
