Obituary of Mildred Casto

Mildred Casto, 85, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. Mildred was born October 3, 1926 to Peter and Dorothy Susnar in Akron and had been an Akron resident her entire life. She was a 1944 graduate of South High School and a member of St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church. Mildred was preceded in death by her grandson Jimmy Soccorsi and siblings Milo and Anna Susnar and is survived bychildren Michael (Christine Kraker) Casto, Sr., Judy (David Horner) Casto, Susan Misanko and Janis (Richard) Corbin; grandchildren Michael Casto, Jr., Michele (Bryan) Kavalecz, Jonathan (Claudia) Davis, Jennifer Misanko (Robert) Horton, Melissa Misanko, and Brian (Sarah) Misanko; great grandchildren, whom she adored, Sydney Soccorsi, Madelynn Misanko, Lillian Horton, Tyler and Spencer Kavalecz and soon to be born Avery Misanko; sisters Donna (Joe) Garland and Zora Kokey. Special thank you to her doctor and our friend Dr. Marta Roth, Hospice of Summa and Passport, especially Daisha Patterson of Cambridge Home Health who took such loving care of our Mother. We can never thank all of you enough. The family will receive friends Wednesday 4 to 6 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. followed by a service at 6:00 pm.
