Obituary of Mildred Chudik
Mildred Chudik, 88, passed away on April 15, at Akron General Medical Center.
Born on October 28, 1924 to the late Nicklos & Rose Pantelich, Mildred had been a lifetime Akron resident. She was a graduate of Central High School and later worked for Saalfield Publishing. Mildred was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Ernest in 1989 and her sister-in-law Laura Pantelich. She is survived by her brother Michael Pantelich of Pittsburgh; sister-in-law Pauline 'Pinky' Adams of FL; nieces and nephews Anne Pantelich, Kathrine Miller, Michael L. Pantelich, John Pantelich, Elizabeth Lefevre, Ellen Whyte, Patricia Bandy, Marilyn Graci-Bohling, Ernie Chudick, Terry Adams, and Gary Adams, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews; dear friends Rita and Robert Elieff.
The family will receive friends on Friday, from 6-8pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL 1990 S. Main St in Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jonathan Zingales on Saturday, 10:00am, at the Community of St. John the Baptist on Brown St. in Akron. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd, Twinsburg, OH 44087 or to the Community of St. John the Baptist, 1044 Brown St. Akron, OH 44301.
