Obituary of Mildred Chudik

Mildred Chudik, 88, passed away on April 15, at Akron General Medical Center. Born on October 28, 1924 to the late Nicklos & Rose Pantelich, Mildred had been a lifetime Akron resident. She was a graduate of Central High School and later worked for Saalfield Publishing. Mildred was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Ernest in 1989 and her sister-in-law Laura Pantelich. She is survived by her brother Michael Pantelich of Pittsburgh; sister-in-law Pauline 'Pinky' Adams of FL; nieces and nephews Anne Pantelich, Kathrine Miller, Michael L. Pantelich, John Pantelich, Elizabeth Lefevre, Ellen Whyte, Patricia Bandy, Marilyn Graci-Bohling, Ernie Chudick, Terry Adams, and Gary Adams, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews; dear friends Rita and Robert Elieff. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 6-8pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL 1990 S. Main St in Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jonathan Zingales on Saturday, 10:00am, at the Community of St. John the Baptist on Brown St. in Akron. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
