Obituary of Nancy Ann Schleier

Nancy Schleier, 82, passed away on her birthday, Monday, April 8, 2013 at Akron City Hospital. Nancy was born April 8, 1931 Angelo and Faye (Ditola) Meli in Akron and had been an Akron resident her entire life. She was employed at the Akron Credit Bureau and St. Paul Credit Union. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and the St. Paul Ladies Guild. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Conrad in 1988 and her brother Ben Meli; and is survived by her sons Conrad and John (Kristi) Schleier; grandchildren Joann (Joel) Edgar, Jenny (Benjamin) Austin, Michelle (Tom) Considine, and David and Jeff Schleier; great grandchildren Kaden Schleier, Tyler Considine and Jackson Edgar; sister-in-law Pat Meli. Funeral services will be held Friday 10:30 Am at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St., Akron and 11:00 Am at St. Paul Catholic Church. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday 4 to 8 Pm at the funeral Home. Donations may be made to St. Paul School Endowment, 1580 Brown St Akron, OH 44301.
