Obituary of Adam Dadich
Adam Dadich, 82, went home to be with the Lord on April 1, 2013.
Born in Hoboken, NJ on November 1, 1930 to the late John & Rose Dadich, Adam grew up in the Bronx, NY, was a lifetime New York Yankees fan, and had lived in Firestone Park for over 58 years. He was a member of the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Adam was a faithful member of St. Paul Catholic Church, as well as the Knights of Columbus #3410 in Firestone Park. Adam had a wonderful sense of humor, whose gift was the ability to make people laugh.
In addition to his parents, Adam was preceded in death by his first wife of 32 years Rose and his grandson Eric. He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years Helen; children Adam Jr. (Laura), Michael (Angela), Elizabeth (Randy) Bender, & Joseph. grandchildren Michael Jr. (Angie), Katie (Daniel) DeCrane, Danielle (Brian) Howe, & Kayla, Natalie, Adam, Ryan, and Abby Dadich; great-granddaughter Gia Elizabeth.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 5-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Ralph Thomas on Friday at 10:30 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St. in Akron. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
