Obituary of Ruth Ann Hydeg

Ruth Ann Hydeg Ruth Ann, 86, passed away suddenly on August 28. She was a lifelong resident of Barberton who till this day cherished her grade school friends Barb, Martha and Jan who still remained best buddies. She was a founding member of Holy Trinity parish and later became a dedicated member of St. Francis De Sales in Portage Lakes. Welcoming Ruth Ann to eternal life were her husband of 64 years "Joe Pa", daughter Sherri Ann and son Joey. She is survived by her daughter Cindi Pritt (Joe) grandson Brian Pritt (Karrie) granddaughter Christie Pritt and great grandsons Alex and Xavier Pritt. Special thanks to Ruth Ann's friend and caregiver Mary Dameron for her love and unwavering support of Ruth Ann and her family. If desired memorials may be made to St Francis De Sales Catholic Education Formation Fund. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated 10:30 am on Friday at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 4009 Manchester Rd, Akron, OH 44319 with celebrants Fr. David Bline and Fr. Phil Pritt. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. One steadfast tradition of Ruth Ann's was when someone was leaving her presence she traced the sign of the cross on their forehead saying "God Bless you"…"Angels go with you". Her family was honored to provide this final blessing to Ruth Ann as she died. In the spirit of Ruth Ann you are invited to do the same with those you encounter. (Anthony, AKRON)
