Obituary of Beverly M. McCune

Beverly M. McCune, 87, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013. She was born in Cleveland and was a registered nurse with the VA Hospital of Cleveland. She was a member of the Bedford Bible Baptist Church and enjoyed helping people. She was known as the "Goodwill Ambassador" at the Aurora Manor Care Center where she was currently residing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Viola (Alexander) Meyer; husband, Hershel L.; daughter, Shirley McCune; and daughter-in-law, Mary Deseriee McCune. She is survived by son, Larry McCune; sisters, Patricia Krailo and Dorothy Cervenski; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, 1 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. (one block North of Portage Trail at 3rd St.) in Cuyahoga Falls. Interment at Tallmadge Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
