Obituary of Petrina (Bea) Kepenash

Pat was born in East Akron on February 18, 1931. She attended Robinson Grade School and graduated from East High School in 1949. While in School Pat worked at Steve Zosko's Grocery Store on 7th Avenue as well as the Lucky Shoe Confectionary. She later was employed at Fazios; Flexigrip and Rubber Associates from where she retired. Pat was a long time resident of Green and the Portage Lakes area. She especially enjoyed working in her yard and playing the Lottery. Pat was always willing to give a helping hand to those in need and her contagious smile and laughter will be greatly missed. She is survived by husband, Ted; daughter, Martha (Rob) Glogore; son, Michael (Patty) of Nantucket, Massachusetts; grandson, Justin; sister, Olga Henkel; brother, Bill Roberts; and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Summa's Palliative Care Unit for the caring support Pat received while at the hospital. The family will receive friends Sunday, 3 to 6 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. Funeral service and interment will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice or other deserving organizations of your choice. (Anthony, Akron, 330-724-1281, www.anthonyfh.com)
