Obituary of Mary Jo Wittenauer

-CUYAHOGA FALLS Mary Jo Wittenauer, 82, passed away on December 13, 2016. Born in Niles, OH on June 14, 1934 to the late John & Margaret McGlynn, Mary Jo was a graduate of Notre Dame College & had been a Cuyahoga Falls resident for over 50 years. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls, where she retired as a third grade teacher at IHM School. After retirement Mary Jo enjoyed traveling with her late husband Bill. In addition to her parents, Mary Jo was preceded in death by her husband Bill Wittenauer in 2009; sister-in-law Bernice Harnishfeger. She is survived by her children Mary Kay (Dean) Bulmer and son John (Michele) Wittenauer; grandchildren Ben, Libby, Robbie, Ally, Andy, Josh, Samantha, & Ashley; great-grandson Evan., as well as numerous nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, 4-7 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL, 247 Stow Ave. (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, 11 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church 1905 Portage Trail in Cuyahoga Falls. PLEASE NOTE THE PROCESSION WILL FORM AT THE CHURCH. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls.
