Obituary of Loretta Mae Myers
-CUYAHOGA FALLS
Loretta Mae (Love) Myers, 90, went home to be with our Lord and Savior
on November 26, 2016. She was very much loved and will be missed here on
Earth, but Heaven celebrates her arrival.
She was preceded in death by her mother Audrey Love; sisters Luella,
Viola, RoseAnn, Georgene, & Patricia; lifelong friend Teddie.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Donald; children Douglas
(Jean) Banfield, Jacqueline (Jim) Soucek, Patricia (Tom) Raudonaitis, &
David (Sarah) Myers; grandchildren Theresa, Lucien, Shannon, & Hope;
eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, as well as
many nieces & nephews whom she loved dearly; sister-in-law and friend
Francis Myers.
Loretta was a giving person who loved her children & family. She was a
loyal friend to those who had the opportunity to know her. Even though
she worked several years in the community, she would tell you that her
most fulfilling accomplishments were her children & family.
She loved her long walks and would carry on conversations with others
along the way. She would take in or 'feed' any little dog, cat, bird,
etc. She once took in a pigeon that was left on the side of the road for
dead. Missing one eye and having a broken wing, that pigeon ended up
living for several more years.
She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church until she was no longer able and
she loved the Lord with all of her heart. She would get up very early to
read the bible and journal what the Word of God revealed to her.
Sometimes she would share and other times it was a word just for her.
A special thanks to Diane, Lyn, Pam, & Stephanie who loved and helped
care for Mom. Thanks also to Sophia at Heatherknoll, whom we trusted to
care for Mom. To Bobbie, Sandy, Loretta & Kim, thank you for being there
when needed and to those who visited Mom as well. She knew of and
appreciated your visits.
In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to St. Jude
Chidren's Hospital or to a local animal rescue.
'Remember to feed the birds and other little animals, they need our
help' All creation great and small the Lord God created them all.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, 10 am, at
St. Joseph Catholic Church on Second St. in Cuyahoga Falls. Interment
will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Cuyahoga Falls. (Anthony
