Obituary of Ann Fejes

Ann Fejes passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 3rd 2016, several days after enjoying a wonderful 97th birthday party with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Joe Fejes; and his parents, Mary and George Fejes; mother, Alexandria; father, George Truza; brothers, Raymond, Lefty and Paul Truza; and sister, Sylvia Garcia. In her youth, she loved to participate in sports such as water skiing, playing for BF Goodrich in a travel basketball league, and later watching the Cavs. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow and helping people in their times of need, and she loved to cook for her many family members and friends who visited her. No one ever left Ann's house hungry! She was a proud and active member of the Presentation of Our Lord Romanian Orthodox Church where she worked as a volunteer at the weekend fish fry's for many years. Her professional career included being a "Rosie the Riveter" at BF Goodrich in support of the war effort. She ended her career, retiring from MF Murdock. Her Special Touch will be missed by her children, her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann (Karl) Sarver; son, George Fejes; their children, Michael (Traci), Brett (Cindy), Chad (Michelle), Keri Sarver and Kyle (Fejes) Radak; great-grandchildren include, Jordan, Justin, Joshua, Hogan, Tanji, Jillian, Collin Sarver and Luke Radak. She is also survived by nephews, Chuck and Don Truza and their families; and ex-daughters-in-law, Mary Fejes and Denise Fejes. We love you Grandma Ann! Funeral service will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at the Presentation of Our Lord Orthodox Church, 3365 Ridgewood Rd. Fairlawn, Ohio 44333 where Ann will lie in state one hour prior to service. Very Rev. Dr. Ian Pac-Urar officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 5 to 7 p.m. AT THE CHURCH where a Saracusta service will be held at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church.
