Obituary of Julia Sudomir

Julia Mihaly Sudomir, 98, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016. Julia was born July 30, 1918 in Cuddy, Pa. She lived in and around the Akron area since 1922, the last 63 years in Norton. She was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. Julia was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Joseph; parents, Mary and Gregory Mihaly; brothers, Peter, John, George and Andrew Mihaly; and sisters, Mary Dempsey, Suzanne Redovian, and Anne Wilhelm. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Bonnie of Norton; daughter, Julie Ann Millat of Irvine, Calif.; grandchildren, Joseph (Birdie) of Massillon, Robert (Judy) of Canton, Jeffrey (Erin) and Douglas (Laura) of Barberton, Kathleen (Matthew) McBride, Brian (Mindy) Millat and Jennifer Millat of Irvine, Calif., and Michael Millat of Newark, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Allison, Brendan, Brandon, Joseph, Connor, Kylie, Benjamin, Samuel, Michael, Stella, Weston, James, Evelyn and Jaxon; and many loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 12 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Homes, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where a Parastas will be held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park will immediately follow.
