Obituary of Donald Lee Baldwin
Donald L. Baldwin, 84, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016.
He was born in Akron and was the owner/operator of Don Baldwin Sunoco
on Romig Rd. and on East Ave. for 35 years. Don had a great sense of humor
and was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ethel (Bower)
Baldwin; and brothers, Charles "Sonny" and Robert Baldwin. He is
survived by his wife of 29 years, Peggy (Dunaway) Baldwin; daughters,
Cynthia Cunningham, Darla (Curt) Eldredge, Miriam Simpson and Kim (John)
Tuesday; sons, Mike Hermann (Dianna) and Mark (Terri) Hermann; brothers,
Dale, Wayne, Richard (Marilyn) and Kenneth (Pat) Baldwin; grandchildren,
Allison Tuesday (Nick), Andrew (Carrie) Tuesday and six grandchildren
out of State; and many great-grandchildren. Also, special niece and nephew,
Carol and Ralph Duff. A Special thank you to Dr. Jeffrey Kile for his dedicated care.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, 12:30 p.m. at the
Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St.
Akron, Ohio 44301 where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m.
until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, 350 Opportunity Parkway, Akron, Ohio
44307 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place,
