Obituary of Elizabeth Kara
Elizabeth Kara, 84, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016.
Elizabeth was born in Hungary on December 6, 1931, and immigrated to America with her husband and children in 1973. She worked as a cook for the Lorantffy Care Center for many years. Elizabeth was an exceedingly generous woman and a wonderful cook & baker of traditional Hungarian dishes. She had a deep faith in God—the Bible was her favorite book—and was a member of Sacred Heart Of Jesus Catholic Church on Grant Street until its closing.
Preceded in death by her husband Laszlo in 1992, Elizabeth is survived by her son Laszlo Jr. (Sharon); daughter Elizabeth (George) Bajor; grandchildren Maggie Bajor, Kelly (Brandon) Cummins, Ryan Kara; and great-granddaughter Brooklyn Elizabeth Cummins.
A beloved mother, grandmother & great-grandmother, Elizabeth will be greatly missed, but we take comfort because we know she is with the Lord.
Funeral Services will be private. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery. Donations in Elizabeth's memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 or at http://www.alz.org/ (Anthony, Akron, 330-724-1281, anthonyfh.com)
