Obituary of Mary Ann Duhon
Mary Ann Duhon, 83, passed away on September 14, 2016.
Born in Akron on October 9, 1932 to the late Daniel & Mary Pappas, Mary Ann was a lifetime resident and was a 1951 graduate of St. Mary High School. She was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church and was currently a parishioner at Immaculate Conception in Kenmore. She retired from Command Plastics in 1997. Mary Ann loved family gatherings, camping with family, and playing cards.
In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband John Thomas Duhon in 1986; sisters Francis, Christine, Margaret, Clara, and Helen; brother Bobby. She is survived by her children Ronald (Cathy) of Barberton, Jon (Kathy) Duhon of Akron, and Missy Duhon of Akron; grandchildren Heather (Jared) Glowaski of Pittsburgh & Steven Duhon of Akron; brothers Sonny, Tony, & Tommy (Sharyn) Pappas; sister-in-law Mary Pappas of TN.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, 2-5 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Sam Ciccolini on Monday, 10:00 am, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 2101 17th. St. SW Akron, OH 44314 (at the corner of 17th & Battles in Kenmore).
