Obituary of Lawrence Gabric

GREEN – Lawrence Gabric, 91, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Akron General Medical Center. Lawrence was born December 30, 1924 to John and Theresa (Schuch) Gabric in Kenmore and has been a resident of Green since 1949. He was a self employed dairy farmer and a member of the Summit County Farm Bureau. Larry was a faithful and charter member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church where he served as an usher. Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Helen (Woog); children Linda (David) Bailey, Larry (Teri) Gabric, Pamela (Michael) DeMeio and Donna (Donnie) Galford; grandchildren David (Jessica) Bailey, Rebekah (Troy) Frederick, Geoffrey (Hope) Gabric, Amber Gabric, Dane, Damon (Mandy) and Darren DeMeio, Damara (Drew) Gerig, Marissa (Chad) Taylor and Damien (Ashley) Phillippi; 13 geat grandchidren. He was preceded in death by his siblings Louis, Andrew and Frank Gabric and Marion Jenei. The family will receive friends THURSDAY 4 to 7 pm at the Anthony and Son Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Road (corner of Steese and Massillon Roads in Green, entrance off of Steese). A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Road, Uniontown OH 44685. Interment East Liberty Cemetery.
